The Grace Of God Is Encapsulated In The Death Of Christ – Talking Christianity

Grace Of God:

Grace Of GodGrace of God is totally typified and verified in the death of Christ. The Grace of God is that outstanding ways of God in bypassing legitimate and legal standing orders. And offering solution to any mess man has done to himself. The Grace of God is the demonstration of God’s love in a way it surpasses all knowledge. Again the grace of God is that indescribable step that God takes to rescue man from condemnation. Come to think of it, is unfathomable how a holy God will decide to make Himself sin in order to save His own creatures from His own wrath (1Timothy 3:16).

To the man out there it is unimaginable; it looks like some cock and bull stories. And to some doubters (those who believe that man should pay for his sins) it is too common to think of and therefore, it looks unrealistic. But to those of us who are insiders it is a reality, we understand what the Love of God stands for.  And as a result we are not bewildered (1 Corinthians 2:13 -14). That is because we are the ones who have our senses exercised in the scheme of righteousness.

“The Ministry Of The Believers In Christ”

Definitely by reason of Christ’s revelation resonating in us we understand the length, breadth, height and depth of God’s Love. See (Ephesians 3:18, Hebrews 5:14). Encapsulated in this Love of God is that unprecedented gesture God made in saving sinners. And he did that while they are still walloping in their sins (Romans 5:7 – 8).

The Meaning Of Grace Of God:

The Grace of God is that we should be saved not because we did something better to merit our salvation. But He understood our vulnerability and bankruptcy and as a result extended His hand of grace. (The grace that is free without any cost). So that no man can boast and say I was capable that is why God saved me! The grace of God is purely the gift of God and not a reward at all (Romans 5:14 – 21).

“The Foundation Of The New Testament”

In the demonstration of the grace of God, the unqualified is made qualified without his contribution or effort. The Law says man is not qualified to be saved, but grace of God says man is qualified. The Law says is all about man but grace of God says man has nothing to do with it. I take care of it (Ephesian 2:5, 8-9). The Old Testament therefore, speaks and stands for the Law and it ministers death unto man (2 Corinthians 3:7). However, the New Testament speaks and stands for grace of God and it ministers salvation and life unto man. See (2 Corinthians 3:6, Titus 2:11).

Note that before this time there was only one Testament and it was not seen as Old.  But the need to do away with this Testament came at the fullness of time. The grace of God came into enforcement on that Passover night. The night Jesus Christ made an avowal that nullified the existence of the Old Testament. From that moment it ceases to be the means of regulation as regards to God and His people.

Grace Of God Initiated The New Testament:

This New Testament is not going to be temporary but everlasting. This is because after He had the Passover with His disciples, they went out and sang a hymn (Psalms 136). This hymn that stands for the everlasting mercy of God. Therefore, the New Covenant is pivoted on God’s mercy and not on man’s ability.

The New Testament provided the most crucial thing every human being on this planet earth will not afford to miss. And that is eternal life or life eternal. This life is the life that is given to one who has accepted the redemptive work of Christ. This implies that all humans were dead and has no life in them until Christ came and died.

And by his death life is offered to all. Therefore living in sin means living a life that is dead. Though one may be physically alive but such life without Christ is dead. See Romans 5:14, Ephesians 2:2.  However, receiving the gospel of Christ means receiving Christ and receiving Christ means to have life. And this life is an immortal kind, see 1 Timothy 1:16, 2 Timothy 1:10 1John 5:12.

The grace of God created the platform that nullifies the strength of the Law against man. See Matthew 26:26 – 29, John 19:30, Hebrews 10:12. And through His death He did that once and for all. That is considering that this is not the case with the old order. In that order it is required that an animal should be offered every year for sin. See Hebrews 10:1 – 2. The Law exposes the sin in man and cannot by any mean be a means to earn eternal life.  Also see Hebrews 10:3.

God Put On Man’s Sin:

Therefore, the death of Christ is a means that God has initiated in order to take the place of man. And put on the whole man’s sin on Himself, so that man should be exonerated from the punishment as required by the Law. See Acts 13:38 – 39, 2 Corinthians 5: 21.

It is very pertinent to mention that in His foreknowledge God saw everyman saved. Therefore, inasmuch as God is concerned no one was predestinated to condemnation. However, He devised a means which is the only option He has made available for all men to be saved. And that is in Christ, this is the will of God. By God’s foreknowledge all men are destined to be born in Christ. However, it is the will of man to make the decision that is required for him to be saved.

And if one decides to accept to be born in Christ he has entered in God’s election, justification and glorification. And as many who could not walk into this plan and will of God have to stand for their election, justification and glorification which is not possible without Jesus. See Ephesians 1:4 – 5, 1 John 2:12. This implies that without the grace of God no one can obtain election, justification and glorification.

The standard is that anyone who therefore, understands this reality that by the grace of God, his sins have been laid on Christ and He really took them and nailed them on the cross (Colossians 2:13 – 14), he or she has been cleared from any condemnation (Romans 8:1).

The Grace Of God Means Liberty:

So what the law says against him doesn’t matter. What matters now is what Christ has done for him or her. In fact he is no longer on the clutches of the law of sin and death. Whatever that happens around him is within the dictums of the Law of the spirit of life. See Romans 8:3.

Therefore, it shows that he has understood for sure that the sufficiency is not of him. But in real terms Christ is his sufficiency in meeting the requirement of the Law. See 2 Corinthians 3:5. He will enjoy the liberty that is in Christ, Romans 8:21, which is the glorious liberty awaiting anyone who will accept him.

Is God An Angry God?

This is because Jesus came and stood for our liberty and made sure He obtained it for us. As a result of this, he or she that has come into Christ has no history. That is no records of his or her past 2 Corinthians 5:17. His histories begin in Christ, the life that He now lives is in Christ and it is recorded in Christ. The good news is that it is a life without records of faults.
