The question is why patience? Well, we exhibit patience because it is a nature we have received from God at birth in Christ. Let’s see what Apostle Paul says in regards to this.
“Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus”

Also we exhibit this spiritual attribute because circumstances warrant that we should because that is the way a believer should go. This includes in situation that comes by man and that which is also by Satan. Let’s see this verse as Apostle Paul indicated in his epistle to the Corinthians.
“But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,”
2 Corinthians 6:4
Patience Is A Necessity To A Believer:
As believers it is our responsibility to exhibit the big faith when situations arise, the Holy Spirit cannot do that for us. This is because He has already given to us the fruit of patience in our spirit. Therefore, it is one of the inherent attributes in a believer (the spirit of the man that is in Christ). In other words is one of the fruits a believer bears. See Galatians 5:22-23, 1 Timothy 6:11, Colossians 3:12 – 15, 2 Peter 1:5-7). However, patience is what we develop when we come into faith in Christ.

To be impatience at any time means lack of spiritual maturity. Even if you are reviled, don’t be in haste in taking decisions. And as things unfold the grey areas will become clearer to you and you will have the right judgment to render.
