Christ message is interestingly the message of faith which preachers preach to people. The acceptance of Christ message gives the people the right to possess the righteousness of God. Therefore, Christ message is the source of God’s righteous nature in the life of people (Romans 10:8-11). And the acceptance of Christ message gives one the room or opportunity to have identification with Christ. Meaning that whatever God has wrought in Christ through His death, burial, resurrection and ascension is as well established in the life of that individual. Christ message establishes in reality that Jesus came to take the place of man in judgment.

This is what theologians call substitutionary death sentence or judgment. And that is the punishment that was made for man He came and took it. In that case He exchanged everything He was and has for the misery position of man. And on the other hand man took His glorious status.

Let’s see what the book Isaiah has for us;
“He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
Christ message In Line With Prophecies:
The above verses are a prophecy about Christ. And in it the details or accounts of what He has to suffer because of man are revealed. The verses stipulate that it is because of us that He has to undergo the sufferings. Those sufferings were not meant for Him but He took them for us, demonstrating the love of God for mankind. The state of man in the verses above can never be described as a blessed state. This is because no one entangled with sin is blessed. Therefore, if someone is not blessed he or she is cursed. And what happened is that the Christ according to the prophecy has come to take the curse that is laid on man upon Himself. In that case He became the curse for man so that man should receive His blessed nature.

Let’s see Galatians 3:13.
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.”
This implies that it is important for someone to receive and believe Christ message. This is because when he has done that, he has come into the finished work of Christ. And the finished work of Christ represents the blessing of God in totality. The meaning of this statement is that the blessing of God is encapsulated in Christ message!

Curse Is Taken Away By Christ message:
Therefore, the curse over his life has been lifted and the blessing of Christ is established in him. Let’s see how Apostle Paul puts it in his epistles to the Corinthians;
“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.”
(2 Corinthians 8:9).
By implication the quotation here is insinuating that anyone living in sin is actually living in abject poverty. And this is because the riches of Christ have not been given to him. So as many that believes Christ message receives the righteousness of Christ. And at the same time the riches of Christ is established in them. These riches are established in the life of a believer because he has gained his spiritual position back. It is very important to note that, these positions are just powerful positions that allow someone to exercise his authority.

He exercises authority over and on everything here on earth because he has the indwelling presence of God. And as a result of this one can rightly say that the believer can source out whatever he wants in life. Lack therefore doesn’t have a place in the life of any believer.
The confirmation is that God has given the believer everything he needs in this life and godliness. Invariably God does not owe the believer anything. Let’s see the quotation below.
“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.”
(2 Peter 1:3).

God Does Not Owe The Believer Anything:
There is nothing good God is holding back from the believer. He gave everything in order to demonstrate his love for mankind.
“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”
Therefore if a believer is not seeing the effect of the blessing of God in his or her life, it is not that God holds back the manifestation. However, it is probably he has not rightly understand what has been done or given to him.
