Heart The Core Of Life:
The reality is that decisions or judgment about life issues are made in the heart. And it is important to point out that issues target to construe the heart. And as a result, swings it to which direction the spirit behind the issue(s) wants. Also, it is an understandable fact that the heart is fed through the entering points in our body.

These entering points are namely, our eyes, ears and mouths. Therefore, it is apt to say that the heart is influence by things flowing through these mediums. The heart can remain fallow or clean from filthy things inasmuch as these entering points are guarded properly.
However, to be able to solve an issue at hand, it’s important to ascertain the reason why the issue is in place. The understanding of the source and reason for it to happen will definitely help in resolving the issue. Recalling that the way and manner we handle issues will result in how meaningful and meaningless life can be.
This is very important to a believer because issue comes up in order to redefine the nature of Christ the believer has obtained. This implies that whenever there’s an issue the believer should grasp the reality that his Christ’s nature is at stake. And therefore, should as a matter fact stand strong to defend his image in Christ. He has to take this step before anything else should be considered.
Know When To Flee:
It is factual to say that issues are relative and can always fade out with time. However, while in it, a believer should hold his stand and maintain his image in Christ. On the other hand if he doesn’t his image in Christ can be dented. Apostle James speaking to believers encourages them to resist the devil and he will flee (James 4:7).

Notice that the believer is advised to submit himself to God. This indicates that the believer should abide in what God has made him. And the result will be that the devil will recognize that this believer understands himself and then flee from him. However, Apostle Paul states this fact in an opposite direction, while speaking to his son in the Lord Timothy.
He advised him thus “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness” (1 Timothy 6:11). Now this statement of fleeing falls in two ways. Which is, there are times the devil has to flee and there are time the believer has to flee.
There are two things we must hold on here. In the case of Apostle James’s advice, if the devil wants to take something away from the believer, he should stand strong and resist him. And definitely he will flee! However, in the case of Apostle Paul’s advice, if the devil wants to put something in the life of the believer, he should flee and not the devil.
Now, talking about the source of issues, Apostle James stated it very clear thus:
“But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”
In the quotation above, lust is the subject matter. It is interesting to know that lust comes into the heart through the channels we mentioned earlier. And any careless approach to it will make it to settle and begins to bear fruits. Interestingly, one can only lust over what one sees, hear and spoke about and this overtime takes over the heart. When it takes over the heart one has no other option than to tend towards the commands of his heart.
This is an interesting teaching: The Lovingkindness of God
The key therefore, is that one should not lust over anything! As a believer you should hold the image of Christ you are in view always. And so long as you hold on to whom you are in Christ nothing takes over your heart. This is because at this point in time, you have developed a single eye.
And in this case the only picture you see is nothing but your image in Christ. In fact, nothing is more valuable to you than it. The believer has to stand on this knowledge of the image of God that has been established in him. The benefit of this is that he will start pulling down any strong holds. And at the same time, cast out every imagination that works against this knowledge of God in him. Consequently, he is bringing every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4-6).
The platform of the judgment of a believer to any issue is based on the identity of the believer in Christ. Recognition of this very fact helps the believer to live a victorious life.
