The Definition of Man:
Man is an offshoot of God. This fact makes him an inimitable creature, designed in his real nature as the image of God. Man is an embodiment of God’s likeness infused in an earthen vessel. This creates the privilege and means that enables him to display the God like nature in him. That is to say that he is an embodiment of God’s wisdom, talents and creativity.

Man is a being that is not defined and limited by the location of where he is born. And he cannot be defined by the financial capacity of his parents or by the colour of his skin. Not even by the race he belongs, and should never be defined by the level of his height. Lastly Man should not be defined by the ability or disability of his physical structure. The only way Man should be defined is by the grace of endowment he has received from God.
Regarding the endowment, one thing is obvious, nobody ever had a meeting or an accord with God to negotiate anything before coming into this world.
“O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.”
Is God’s prerogative and profligacy:
Since you never had the privilege to make any choice is God’s prerogative and profligacy to endow you with what He deems fit. And also that which will suit His will and purpose for you as an individual. It is not a thing to grumble or grovel for. However, people have to be rest assured that whatever the endowments are, they will have the cause to glorify God.

The only thing needed is for them to walk in consonant with the dictum of God concerning their life. It is important that this consciousness should be etched in the heart of every individual. This is because it serves as a catalyst that stirs one’s mind to build up boldness in himself. In order to reassure himself that whatever he is, is as a result of what God has imbued in him.
What Determines Your Mission:
Many believe that the elaborate celebration that accompanies the birth of a child gives insight to what his status in the society is. But such doesn’t really define who he is or will be. And also such a celebration doesn’t define his mission here on earth. Evidences have shown that not every child born with a golden spoon in their mouth ends up with it. However, contrary to most human expectations; many that are born without the golden spoon in their mouth are the producers of golden spoons.

This statement gives acuity that the status of one’s parents may be a means to an end but not the end itself. Therefore, the end is pivoted around the commitment and inclination one has towards his God’s given endowment. This must be a function of his obedience to God in relation to what he has received from Him.
Things That Should Not Deter You In Life:
Hence, there are a lot of things that will aid you to rightly define who you are and what your mission is. God has made everything that one requires available. Making use of those things will imply a firm establishment. But the inability to utilize them would mean that the person concerned should be ready to experience pronounced setbacks.

However, there are a lot of things that we should not agree with, as stipulated here. One of such things is that we should not allow our life to be construed. It is better to look out for these things and deal with them squarely. And also from them one can have insight to those things that work in conformity with his purpose in life.
Do not believe that your environment is the worse place to be. One thing you should know is that before God could allow you to be born in that environment; He had credible reasons. If people are talking ill of your environment do not join them. Rather, look out for what that environment can offer and make use of it. Your environment might be perceived as the worst slum but surely, there are underlying treasures in the slum. You are the treasure in that slum, and you can turn things around. In his days, David quipped,
“O LORD, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all: THE EARTH IS FULL OF THY RICHES” (Psalm 104:24).

Jesus came out of a shantytown town called Nazareth, but He never allowed that to dictate the pace for Him. Many in His days had the notion that something good will not come out of Nazareth. Jesus found Philip. Philip found Nathanael and invited the latter to come because…
Jesus Is Prophecy And Law Fulfilled:
“We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph” (John 1:45).
But Nathanael’s response was strange:
“Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see” (John 1:46).
Just like Jesus didn’t allow His environment to define His destiny, so also, your environment doesn’t decide who you are. But again like Jesus, you can decide what your environment can be like by harnessing those unseen means and treasures within. Don’t forget that
“THE EARTH IS FULL OF THY RICHES” (Psalm 104:24).
These riches are located in the lives of fellowmen, in the vegetation canopies and beneath the ground. It stands to reason that whatever man has to become is traceable to what his environment can offer him.
The Grace of God For Man:
The devil is a liar. He makes people to believe that the place they were born, the conditions of their parents are their description. This has led people to accept that the grace of God is not upon them. Know this; God’s grace is upon you. Understand that, the factor that determines the grace of God upon your life is not the fascinating things. Rather, the endowment of God’s grace to overcome challenges and this builds your life up.
This teaching is very insightful “The Throne Of Grace A Must For Every Believer”
The grace of God is that ability that you need and it is upon you. Your duty is that you shouldn’t allow the physical vacuities and people’s opinion to talk you out of it. Jesus had a disagreement with Peter when the latter tried to dissuade Him from the way of the cross. And Jesus’ reply clearly shows us that focusing on people’s opinion will always result in a disagreement between man and God.
Jesus Didn’t Yield To Man’s Opinion:
Mark 8:31-33 (TLB)
“Then he began to tell them about the terrible things he would suffer, and that he would be rejected by the elders and the Chief Priests and the other Jewish leaders – and be killed, and that he would rise again three days afterwards.
He talked about it quite frankly with them, so Peter took him aside and chided him. “You shouldn’t say things like that,” he told Jesus.
Jesus turned and looked at his disciples and then said to Peter very sternly, “Satan, get behind me! You are looking at this only from a human point of view and not from God’s.”
God’s Standard And Opinion Is Final:
Beloved, going by God’s opinion for you as revealed in His Word, you should know that you’re an auspicious individual. God’s grace is upon you to do all that you want to do if you can rely on Him. Therefore, do not undermine the power of God’s grace in your life.
